My Story
Hi! My name is Clemens Chua, a creative who is freelancing in the media industry. In addition to all the work I've completed, I'm also an Award Winner for my short documentary film I, Danced. in Season 22 of World Film Carnival Singapore, an international film festival and have been awarded Official Selection for my dance film, Outbreak, at the Lion City Dance Film Festival 2023.

I started photography as a passion when I picked it up as a hobby from my father. We used to go out and shoot together, and I would use a Canon M6 that he bought for me to shoot with. As I progressed and honed my craft, I realised that this was something I was really interested in and wanted to make a career out of. Fast forward to today, I founded and currently head my company, Clemens Chua Productions. Here, I lead a team of 5 passionate creatives who specialize in different fields while having a foundation in photography and videography. Take a look at their portfolio and works here.
I am proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects and I use Luminar 4 and Lightroom Classic to edit my photos. I use a Canon EOS 90D, a Canon EOS R6 MKii and a BlackMagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6k for most of my projects. I own a wide range of audio equipment, lighting equipment, four tripods, three gimbals and six lenses, including 3 cine lenses. You can view my full kit at our gear page.​

I also currently head the What You Know Media Internship Program, where my company powers a 6 month internship program in partnership with a nation-wide dance battle event that I hold twice a year. In this media team, I personally teach and bring two of my interns out on shoots for them to learn and practice with industry standard equipment.​
