In House Assessments

About In House Assesment 1

During the first ever in house assessment that our interns went through, we assigned them a task: Come up with a branding for an umbrella company.

​

We gave them $100 funding to spend on anything they wanted, and gave full creative control to them.

​

Within 3 weeks, our interns had to:

  • Come up with a company name

  • Design a logo for the company

  • Write up a short brief about the brand and its concept

  • Create the physical product with their $100 funding

  • Create a marketing campaign for the products

  • Do a photoshoot with the products

  • Create a video reel with optional motion graphics

  • Create a series of Instagram posts to promote the products

  • Create a social media calendar for the Instagram posts with dates and captions

  • Create a website banner

  • Consolidate all designs and branding into a presentation deck

  • Do a physical investors pitch to the What You Know Committee

About In House Assesment 2

During their second in house assessment, we assigned our interns to conceptualise and film a short film based around the theme of "Red".

​

Once again, we provided them with $100 funding and full creative control as to what they wanted to do with the theme.

​

Within 3 weeks, our interns had to:

  • Write a synopsis

  • Create a storyboard

  • Create a script

  • Shoot their short film

  • Export a minimum of 10 screencaps

  • Edit their short film

  • Create a 11" by 17" short film poster

  • Edit a social media poster

  • Edit a trailer of the short film formatted for Instagram
